We had a large group and from the minute we called, they helped me, an uneducated rafter, make sense of their trips and packages. They helped us figure our which family members were appropriate for Brown’s Canyon and which ones should love Upper Bear Creek. Our Group split to accommodate different ages and both groups had a fantastic, safe ride. We had Guide Ian and Guide Steph and both were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We especially loved how Guide Ian engaged our younger kids and let himself enjoy the noise the children brought. I was nervous to book this tour, but am very happy I went with Performance Tours. Solid choice.”

"We had an awesome family float trip with some class 1-2 rapids on our trip. We came up early to CO to acclimate for my husband to do the Leadville 100 mile MTB and found this great rafting experience. Erika Reilley was the best guide ! She was super fun and friendly to my husband and I and my boys ( ages 4, 9 and 12 ). She was super knowledgeable and skilled at maneuvering us safely down the Bear Creek for the half day trip. Also loved how much more affordable this trip was for a 1/2 day experience.”

“If you want to have an incredible rafting experience, look no further.  Our raft guide Kurt was so personable and welcoming.  He kept us afloat for the entire trip!  Due to his experience and detailed knowledge of the river he was able to guide us perfectly through some of the tougher rapids. As we approached the toughest rapid of the day, there was a line of other rafts (from other companies) lined up waiting to enter.  Almost every one of those rafts had spills.  But Kurt already knew what the correct approach would be and we got through the section with no falls at all.!” 

“I just finished my second trip with PTWe did the full-day Royal Gorge with Tye as our guide, and it was fantastic! He knows the river and lots of Old West history of the area he shared on the trip. I’d be remiss if I didn’t give a shoutout to all-star PT employee ginger Joe. My partner was freezing when we stopped for lunch, so Joe called for a wetsuit to be brought down for him! I know what they say about his kind, but this guy definitely has a soul. Great trip, great company. I will book with them again next time.”

"Me and my wife Jessica do a lot of traveling and we like to do the more adventures activities like skydiving, shark diving, stuff like that. Over the years we have experienced many tour guides and our tour guide today whose name is Kurt was by far one of the very BEST that we have ever had. He was very genuine and actually engaged with us in unforced conversation. Many tour guides come across as “ robots “ because they have been doing their job for so long and it’s the same ole thing for them day in and day out. But not Kurt. He was GREAT!! I would recommend this white water rafting company to ANYONE and EVERYONE who is looking for some adventure!!"

"Cannot recommend enough. Did the Full Day Browns Canyon with my 10 year old daughter. We have kayaked a bunch, but it was our first time rafting and we had such a blast. The river was gorgeous, and the rapids were so fun and big, but didn't feel too scary or dangerous, mostly because our guide, Kara, was so experienced and good at her job. I mean good is an understatement, she had complete mastery of the raft at all times. She was also super nice and patient and we just loved her stories and the knowledge she shared. The gear provided was perfect to make us comfortable all day. The lunch included with the all day trip was absolutely delicious and I love that they take photos of you going through the biggest rapids. So grateful to have that experience captured. I will absolutely be back next season!”
