Hiking and Biking in and Around Frisco

The Peaks Trail offers intermediate mountain biking on a scenic 10-mile trail between Breckenridge’s Peak 7 and Downtown Frisco. It’s just one of the many great trails in Frisco!

Take a hike in Frisco! The North Ten Mile Trail is conveniently located on the north end of Main Street and offers several miles of intermediate hiking with beautiful views and easy access. Rainbow Lake is another great hiking trail and is a great option for families and visitors looking for a mellow hike to a lake. Bring the dog for a quick dip in Rainbow Lake! Sapphire Point Overlook is one of the more popular short hikes in the area, as it’s an easy .6 mile loop with sweeping views over Lake Dillon and has plenty of parking.

Beginning just down the road in Breckenridge, the Blue River Recreation and Bike Path winds around Lake Dillon and into downtown Frisco. The Rec Path is a popular place for road biking and leisure biking in Frisco, with some visitors renting eBikes at Pioneer Sports and cruising all the way around Lake Dillon. The bike path continues past Copper Mountain and up to Vail Pass, where Pioneer Sports also offers a Vail Pass bike shuttle for guests who want the big views without all the hard work. If mountain biking is more your style, mountain biking trails in Frisco are plentiful! Check out the Peaks Trail, an intermediate 10 mile ride connecting downtown Frisco and the base of Peak 7 at Breckenridge Ski Resort.
