While rafts from other tour companies got stuck in certain parts of the river, the experienced guides from Performance Tours helped them get out of those situations while providing us with non-stop fun on the rapids! We had so much fun rafting down the Arkansas River with Performance Tours. My family of four with an 11 year old and 13 year old enjoyed the experience of the rapids and the beautiful scenery. Our guide, Dylan, was phenomenal at teaching proper technique and getting us out of difficult situations. We have done white water rafting before so when he sensed the girls were wanting a little more thrills with the lower water levels he had us do a “wheelie” on an angled rock, which elicited screams of excitement from the kids. I also appreciated how helpful all the guides were with each other. There were a few times that we maneuvered the rafts to help others rafts get unstuck. It was nice to feel like we were all a team. If we come to the area again we will definitely look up Performance Tours and maybe an advanced course for even bigger rapids!

Spent 2 days rafting with Performance Rafting this past week with my daughter. We had an incredible time even with low water flow for this time of year. We did the Royal Gorge trip with Curt who is Awesome!! and we did the Brown Canyon trip with Stewart as our Guides. Stewart was also great! I have been rafting with Performance Tours pretty much every summer for 30 years. The guides are awesome and fun and are treated well by the management. The riverside lunch, though seemingly simple, is fresh, filling, and accommodates any dietary needs, especially if you communicate that ahead of time. I've gone with other companies, but haven't experienced any other company that rivals Performance Tours for the price and quality of service.

This was our first family rafting trip and it was a blast. Nadia was a fantastic guide! She helped squash some of our nerves and was fun, super positive and informative on the whole trip. Everyone from the gift shop, phone line and bus driver were nothing but kind and helpful. We are definitely ready for another trip!

Performance is simply the best rafting company out there. They pay attention to every detail from wetsuit, shoes to water for your water bottle. Upon arrival the staff warmly checked us in and didn't miss any detail in preparation for the trip. The staffs passion for rafting was palpable. They shuttled us to launch spot and our guide Bundy took us under his wings. We were so lucky to be paired with Bundy as not only did he know the river like the back of his hand, he had a sense of humor. As we floated down the river other raft guides would comment on how great our guide is, which instilled confidence on our trip. As we approached class 4 rapids, Bundy had the experience and knowledge to get us through the rapids smoothly. The cost of the trip was far more reasonable then the other companies, but there was no skimping on quality. After seeing the gorge from the bridge and the water, the best way to see the gorge is a rafting trip. We were able to see birds, big horn sheep and even a snake! My partner and I hope to do many more trips with Performance rafting and hands down would recommend!

We had an amazing time with Performance Tours Rafting in Cañon City! Our tour guide, Mike, truly made the whole experience unforgettable. He was fun, informative, and kept the entire group laughing while also making us feel safe and comfortable the entire trip. We did a rafting trip with Performance Tours for my 40th birthday and it was beyond amazing! Sophia was our guide and she made this girls trip SO MEMORABLE. Just got back from a trip with Performance Tours Rafting, and man, what a great time. Me, my husband, and our son had a blast out on the water. Bryce was our guide and honestly, he was awesome—super laid back, which really helped keep things mellow, especially for anyone feeling a little nervous. He’s got that easygoing vibe but also knows his stuff, so you feel safe and learn a ton without it feeling like a lecture. The whole adventure was fun and just the right amount of excitement.
