Your adventure begins beneath the spectacular Collegiate Peaks and takes you through Browns Canyon, a recently designated National Monument. Thrilling rapids such as Pinball, Zoomflume, Big Drop, Staircase and Devil's Punchbowl, and the infamous Seidel's Suckhole make this fantastic whitewater stretch one that shouldn't be missed. This trip offers everything you're looking for in a fun and exciting rafting adventure; Plenty of moderate level whitewater and exciting class 3+ rapids, with picturesque 14,000' peaks & spectacular canyon scenery. This splashy adventure is great for all experience levels, from first timers to seasoned rafters, and includes a riverside lunch. FAQ for the Browns Canyon Full Day What can I expect on this trip? The Browns Canyon section of the Arkansas River offers class III+ whitewater amidst spectacular mountain and desert scenery, and is the most popular raft trip in the country. Can I bring my child on this trip? Browns Canyon is a very family friendly Colorado rafting trip. Recommended minimum age is 7 years old and at least 50 pounds. Exceptions are made when the water levels subside. We may also adjust upward during above average flow rates. How difficult is this trip? Browns Canyon is class III+ whitewater, often described as moderate, exciting, and great for first-timers or families! How long are we on the river? Though this depends on time of year and flows, guest can expect to be on the river for about 4 hours on the full day trip. What's for lunch? On FULL DAY trips only a delicious buffet style lunch is provided along with a beverage. You may bring non-alcoholic canned beverages if desired. Usually our lunch consists of a buffet style sandwich spread with meats, cheeses, various veggies, chips, fruits and more. Lunch is enjoyed on our office patio or riverside.
