What can I expect on this trip?
The Browns Canyon section of the Arkansas River offers class III+ whitewater amidst spectacular mountain and desert scenery, and is the most popular raft trip in the country.
Can I bring my child on this trip?
This is a very family friendly Colorado rafting trip! Recommended minimum age is 7 years old and at least 50 pounds. Exceptions are made when the water levels subside. We may also adjust upward during above average flow rates.
How difficult is this trip?
Browns Canyon is class III+ whitewater, often described as moderate, exciting, and great for first-timers or families!
How long are we on the river?
Though this depends on time of year and flows, guest can expect to be on the river for about 2 hours on the half day trip.
When and where do we meet?
This trip meets at our Buena Vista office.
Half Day trips meet at 9:30am, 12:30pm, 2pm and depart 30 minutes later.
Once you have arrived at the office that your trip departs from, Performance Tours will provide all shuttles. We have ample parking at all of our offices.
