Blue River is Back!
Blue River Rafting
Summit County’s closest stretch of moderate, family-friendly whitewater is now open for the season! The Denver Waterboard has indicated they will be releasing raft-able flows on the Blue River as of today and hope to sustain flows through mid-July. The Blue is a wonderful local whitewater rafting option for Summit County guests and a favorite among local whitewater enthusiasts. It’s a class 3 trip, with a balance of gorgeous alpine scenery and exciting, moderate rapids.
Flows on the Blue River are dependent on local snowpack conditions and are controlled by Denver Water. For more information about the Blue River Half Day trip visit www.performancetours.com
