Sapphire Point Overlook is one of the more popular short hikes in the area, as it’s an easy .6 mile loop with sweeping views over Lake Dillon and has plenty of parking.
Beginning just down the road in Breckenridge, the Blue River Recreation and Bike Path winds around Lake Dillon and into downtown Frisco. The Rec Path is a popular place for road biking and leisure biking in Frisco, with some visitors renting eBikes at Pioneer Sports and cruising all the way around Lake Dillon. The bike path continues past Copper Mountain and up to Vail Pass, where Pioneer Sports also offers a Vail Pass bike shuttle for guests who want the big views without all the hard work.
